Ignavus Canis

Why a blog called Lazy Dog? Obviously there has to be some meaning in this for me. Actually there are many. Those of us around the Fugitt household have many nicknames and one of them happens to be ignavus canis which is Latin for lazy dog. So when we want to put a dig in on the boys around here, out comes this nickname. Another reason for this name is that in many areas in my life this name exemplifies me. I fight laziness in my walk with the Lord, my relationship with my wife and kids, and especially with my prayer life. So this is a daily reminder to me of what I am and what I struggle with. And lastly, I really think the pictures of the dogs are awesome!
